Bad Weather Policy for Childcare Program

Level 1 snow emergency:  Operate under normal hours

Level 2 snow emergency:  Childcare center will open at 7:30am

Level 3 snow emergency:  Childcare center closed

Before and After School Childcare

The Ross County YMCA currently offers a fun-filled, structured Before and After School Care program. The state licensed program is available to students in grades K-8, and transportation is provided to and from the Chillicothe City Schools, Bishop Flaget and Unioto. The program offers many activities including swimming, homework help, computer lab, gymnasium time and snack. All day care is available on snow days, in service days, delays and holidays in which the Y is open. For more information contact Jenny Beverly at the YMCA.

$50.00 registration fee for all new participants

Preschool

The Ross County YMCA Child Development Center provides year round quality child care for children ages 3-5. Our curriculum is based on the content standards of the Ohio Department of Education. Our program will equip your child with the fundamentals necessary for Kindergarten. We are committed to making your child's preschool years both positive and memborable. Join us for a fun-filled experience of exploration, discovery, social skill development, swimming, gymnastics, gross motor play on playground and gym, fitness classes and much more! Children must be potty-trained before starting the program.
