Healthy Me!

Healthy Me!  Classes are now being offered to all youth registered in the preschool and after school program.  Each age group meets once a week in a small group setting with Wellness Staff to work on projects, exercise, discuss age appropriate issues, learn about nutrition by making healthy snacks, and set goals to learn "how to become a healthier me"!

Healthy Me!  Classes for the community will be starting in early 2012 along with a support group for children who have a sibling or parent battling a chronic disease/illness, such as cancer.  Contact the Wellness Director for more information.

Support Groups for Families with Special Needs

Parents and caretakers of children with special needs can expect to find a wide variety of new options for classes and support groups in 2012.  Support meetings, trainings, family gatherings, and more.  These groups will accommodate nearly all age groups, and volunteers are greatly needed at this time to assist with organizational matters.  If you are interested in being involved, or would like more information, please call the Wellness Director.

Taking Charge of U

There's nothing that creates more anxiety and fear of the unknown than being told "you have cancer".  Whether it is cancer, diabetes, or another chronic illness or disease that enters your life, you need knowledge, support and hope.  This adult support group meets twice per month - the second and fourth Monday at 6:30 pm.  It is open to the community.  Members are encouraged to share successes, discuss ongoing issues that they are faced with, or just have an evening with no formal agenda to socialize with others.  For more information contact the Wellness Director.
