Give it your all at the Y! This adult recreation program provides a competitive environment for those not ready to hang up their athletic shoes! Registration is taken by team but interested individuals not on a team can speak with the League Director who can often find a team to join. For more information, click here.

No one tops our legacy. Did you know that Basketball was invented by the Y in 1891 at the International YMCA Training School? Dr. James Naismith was given the challenge of creating a game that could be played indoors during the cold winter months. Hanging simple peach baskets and using a soccer ball, Naismith created the game of basketball and wrote the first 13 rules of the game.

Pickleball
A fast-growing paddle sport blending tennis, badminton, and table tennis, played with paddles and a perforated plastic ball on a badminton-sized court with a lowered net, featuring unique rules like the non-volley zone ("kitchen") and underhand serves, making it accessible and popular for all ages, offering aerobic exercise and strategic play.

YMCA adult basketball is a fun, competitive basketball league. Referees are provided in an 8-game season plus tournament format.

Adult Softball
YMCA adult softball has a men's league and a separate co-ed format. Umpires are provided in an 12-game season plus tournament format. Games are played in the City Park Annex.
