Our YMCA's recreational gymnastics program is transitioning to a month-to-month program starting in January 2024, compared to a session-to-session program in the past. This means that you won't have to remember registration dates, miss out on enrollment opportunities for your child, or have unnecessary gaps in your child's program.

Once registered for our program, your automatic monthly payment will occurp on the 2nd day of the month and continue until you withdraw from the program, or transition to the competitive team.

If your athlete advance in class levels, the coach will notify parents of the level transfer. Please Note: Withdraws (using our website link or by calling the YMCA) on or before the 20th of the preceding month will prevent payments from drafting for future months.

Q&A

My child is a new participant and/or is starting after the class has begun. Will my child be behind?

Absolutely not. The way our progressive programs work, children are grouped by and taught to their ability. Program participants are used to seeing new faces and the program staff will welcome them warmly.

Can my child switch class times part way through the year?

Sure! We are always happy to accommodate transfers as long as there is availability in the program where you are transferring.

What happens if I don't want to do a full year?

You can attend for the length of time that works for you, two months or ten. You will need to provide notice by the 20th of the month to not be drafted in the coming month. For example, if you cancel by January 20th, you will not be drafted on February 2nd. You can fill out a withdraw request online above, or by calling us at 740.772.4340.
